The Great Awakening by Brian Perez

Recently, I was presented with a sprawling document of interconnected theories, symbols, spiritual concepts and hidden narratives — a map attempting to explain the awakening many believe humanity is now experiencing.

At first glance it appeared overwhelming, almost manic in its density. But after sitting with it for some time, I came to a different conclusion.

The importance was not whether every individual claim was true.

The importance was that millions of people across the world are beginning to feel the same thing:  that something fundamental about human consciousness is changing.

Culture. Perception. Intuition. Consciousness itself.

All appearing to move toward something higher — hopefully closer to enlightenment rather than destruction.

The Rapture

“In the twinkling of an eye,” where mortal, corruptible bodies are changed into immortal, eternal ones…” 1 Corinthians 15:50-54

Few Biblical concepts have captured the human imagination more deeply than the idea of the Rapture — a sudden transformation in which humanity is fundamentally changed.

For some, it is a literal prophetic event still to come.

For others, it represents something more symbolic: a shift in consciousness, perception and spiritual awareness occurring during a period of immense global instability.

Regardless of interpretation, many people today believe the signs of profound transition are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.

Institutions once viewed as immovable are losing trust. Information moves faster than discernment. Technology is accelerating faster than human wisdom. Anxiety, division and psychological exhaustion seem woven into daily life.

At the same time, there is also a growing fascination with spirituality, meditation, near-death experiences, consciousness studies, synchronicities and the possibility that reality itself may be far stranger than we once believed.

Whether this period ultimately becomes known as awakening, tribulation or transformation may depend largely on the lens through which humanity chooses to view it.

Tribulation

Perhaps the awakening is not a single event, but a gradual remembering.

A return to intuition.

A return to meaning.

A return to something ancient within ourselves that the modern world tried very hard to silence.

And if that is true, then humanity may not be approaching the end of something.

It may be approaching the beginning.

Thanks for reading!
